Your Legal Partner · Since 2014
STK Legal is a Dwarka, New Delhi law office founded in 2014 by Advocate Sarita Kanwar, providing legal advisory, drafting and representation services to individuals, financial institutions, businesses and corporate clients.
About the firm
We believe that every legal matter requires careful preparation, clear communication and a practical strategy. Our approach is focused on understanding the client's concerns, protecting their legal rights and pursuing appropriate remedies before courts, tribunals and other authorities.
The office was founded in 2014 by Advocate Sarita Kanwar and has since acted for lenders, businesses and individual clients across Delhi and the NCR. Whether the matter is a stalled recovery, a disputed title, a notice received without warning or a contract that needs to hold up later, the office begins the same way — by setting out the position plainly, and then building the record to support it.
"A matter is won long before the hearing — in the documents, the pleadings and the sequence in which the facts are placed on record."

How we work
A clear sequence, so you always know which stage your matter is at and what is expected next.
You explain the matter and share whatever documents you already have.
Facts, documents and limitation are examined, and the legal position is stated honestly.
Remedies, forum, likely timeline and cost are laid out so you can decide with clarity.
Notices, pleadings and applications are prepared and filed before the appropriate forum.
Hearings are attended and you are updated on every order, filing and next requirement.
Why clients choose STK Legal
Legal issues, available remedies and potential risks are explained in clear and understandable language.
Every matter is handled with close attention to documents, facts, procedural requirements and applicable law.
Legally sound and commercially practical solutions, suited to each client's circumstances and objectives.
Clients are kept informed about hearings, filings, orders and further requirements as they happen.
The advocate
Advocate Sarita Kanwar is the founder of STK Legal and has been in practice since 2014. Her work centres on recovery and civil litigation — appearing for banks, financial institutions and businesses before the Debt Recovery Tribunal, civil and commercial courts and consumer forums, and advising on property title and security documentation.
Individual clients come to the office for the same reason institutional ones do: matters are prepared personally, the position is stated honestly at the outset, and communication does not stop once the file is opened.
Common questions
You describe the matter, share any documents you have, and receive a plain assessment of where you stand — the likely remedy, the forum, the approximate timeline and what it will take. If there is no worthwhile legal remedy, you will be told that too.
Whatever exists: agreements, notices received or sent, sale deeds and title papers, loan or sanction documents, statements of account, and any court or tribunal papers already served on you. Incomplete papers are fine for a first meeting — the gaps can be identified then.
Yes. The office handles recovery matters, DRT and securitisation proceedings, execution, legal search reports and mortgage opinions for banks, NBFCs and other lenders, alongside work for individual and corporate clients.
Fees depend on the nature of the matter, the forum and the stage at which it is engaged. The basis is discussed and agreed before work begins, so there are no surprises later.
Advisory work, drafting, opinions and document review can be handled remotely. For matters requiring appearance, the office covers courts, tribunals and commissions in Delhi and the NCR.
